Precision and accurate results
PCR and RT-qPCR closure caps for 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes, in the form of 8-band strips, are an innovative product from Googlab Scientific that harmoniously combines exceptional functionality with reliability. These flat lids are designed to provide superior protection and sealing when performing PCR and RT-qPCR techniques, ensuring maximum precision and accuracy in results.
Closure lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are characterized not only by their aesthetic appearance, but also by their robust design, ensuring durability and minimizing the risk of possible leaks or contamination. Made of the highest quality materials, these closure strips preserve the integrity of the samples and effectively prevent possible distortion or loss of genetic information.
Reliability and convenience during testing – Closing lids for PCR and RT-qPCR
The original design of the lids, referring to advanced technology, is not only visually appealing, but also meets the practical needs of the laboratory. The flat, smooth surfaces facilitate precise manipulation, and the ergonomic shapes provide a comfortable and secure grip, even during an intense series of experiments.
Thanks to their exceptional design and reliability, Googlab Scientific’s PCR and RT-qPCR closure lids are becoming an indispensable partner in scientists’ daily work, helping them focus on the essence of their research and achieve outstanding results in the field of molecular biology. It’s an investment in quality, precision and professionalism that underscores the value of each stage of the experiment.
Dnase/Rnase and Pyrogen Free
Closure lids for PCR and RT-qPCR labeled “Dnase/Rnase and Pyrogen Free” are manufactured to minimize the presence of DNA and RNA degrading enzymes and substances that cause inflammatory reactions. This allows for more reliable and accurate results in molecular experiments that require keeping genetic material intact and minimizing potential interference.
FEATURES
- Sample Closure: These strips are used to hermetically seal 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes, which are used to store and perform chemical reactions, including PCR and RT-qPCR reactions.
- 8-strip design: the closure strips are available as a strip that connects eight small tubes of 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml each. Such strips are convenient because they allow multiple reactions to be carried out simultaneously, which is especially useful in laboratory work where we need many samples for analysis.
- Flat Lids: The flat lids of the strips are optimized to fit tightly against the tubes, helping to maintain airtightness and minimize the risk of possible sample contamination.
- Material: The capping strips are made of materials that can withstand the temperatures used in PCR and RT-qPCR reactions, including high temperatures during DNA denaturation and extreme temperature changes during thermal cycling.
- Markings: Googlab Scientific brand strips have numerical markings to help identify individual samples in the strip, which is important when running multiple reactions simultaneously.
- Automation: the strips are compatible with automated PCR and RT-qPCR reaction systems, allowing for even greater efficiency and precision in testing.
- High-quality materials: Strips and lids are usually made of high-quality plastics that are resistant to temperature changes, chemicals and other factors that can occur during PCR or RT-qPCR reactions.
- Process optimization: The ability to run multiple reactions simultaneously in a single strip increases efficiency and saves time. Different samples, conditions or genes can be tested in a single run, which is beneficial for scientific research and diagnostics.
- DNase and RNase: These are enzymes that degrade DNA and RNA, respectively. In molecular laboratories, DNase or RNase contamination can cause degradation of targeted DNA or RNA, leading to inaccurate or erroneous experimental results. The “Dnase/Rnase Free” designation means that the capping strips and plates have undergone a process that removes or inactivates these enzymes to prevent degradation of genetic material during experiments.
- Pyrogens: Pyrogens are substances that can cause inflammatory reactions in the body, such as fever. Pyrogens can affect experimental results and lead to interference with analyses. The “Pyrogen Free” designation means that the closure strips and plates have undergone a process that eliminates pyrogens, minimizing the risk of inflammatory reactions or interference with experimental results.
SCOPE
- Temperature range: room temperature
- Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture (make sure the packaging is in good condition)
APPLICATIONS
- PCR is a technique used to amplify (duplicate) a specific DNA sequence to obtain enough genetic material for analysis. 8-strip closure strips with flat lids are used to close small 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes in which the PCR reaction takes place. Each of these strips contains eight separate tubes, allowing eight independent PCR reactions to be performed simultaneously in a single run.
- RT-qPCR (Real-Time Reverse Transcriptase PCR):RT-qPCR is a technique that combines a reverse transcriptase step with a PCR reaction to detect and quantify the amount of nucleic acid (usually RNA) in samples. 8-strip capping strips with flat lids are also applicable to this technique, allowing multiple RT-qPCR reactions to be performed simultaneously.
