Precision PCR and RT-qPCR closure lids for 0.1ml/0.2ml 8-strip tubes or plates

Reliable security for your genetic samples

Nest Scientific Biotechnology is a company specializing in the manufacture and supply of various laboratory products, including strips that are flat or convex closing lids for 0.1 ml/0.2 ml 8-strip tubes or for PCR and RT-qPCR plates. Our STRIP flat or convex closure lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are designed to provide reliable protection for your valuable genetic samples. Complex research processes require precise maintenance of conditions, and our lids are the perfect solution. With an airtight seal, you can rest assured that your samples will remain intact and ready for precise analysis.

Quick and no-hassle application

Our closure lids for PCR and RT-qPCR not only provide protection, but are also extremely easy to apply. Thanks to their ergonomic design, their quick and hassle-free insertion ensures that your time is maximized for research rather than cumbersome procedures. Save yourself the trouble and enjoy the convenience of our lids.

Compatibility with a variety of tubes

No matter what PCR and RT-qPCR tubes you use, our closure lids are designed for broad compatibility. The precise fit and airtight seal ensure that your genetic samples are fully protected regardless of tube type. Trust our lids to provide reliability and peace of mind during your research.

  • Material free of DNase, RNase and pyrogens: The lids are manufactured from materials that are free of nucleases (DNase and RNase) and pyrogens. This is critical because nucleases can degrade nucleic acid in the sample, leading to false-negative results or contaminants, and pyrogens can introduce errors in analyses and biological experiments.
  • Fit to tubes and plates: The lids are designed to fit exactly into 0.1-ml or 0.2-ml tubes in both 8-strip and plate form, minimizing the risk of sample evaporation and evaporation.
  • Hermeticity and sealing: The lids have seals that ensure the hermeticity of the reaction, protecting samples from external contamination and preventing evaporation or loss of samples during thermal reactions.
  • Temperature resistance: The lids can withstand the extreme temperatures used during PCR and RT-qPCR thermal cycling. The materials used in the manufacture of the lids are selected to maintain integrity and not deform during temperature changes.
  • Transparency: the lids are characteristically transparent, making it possible to observe the reaction in real time without having to open the lid. This is especially useful in techniques such as RT-qPCR, where monitoring the process is crucial.
  • Ergonomic design: lids have special markings or numbers to make it easy to identify the appropriate tubes or locations on the plate. In addition, the lids are specially shaped into systems that allow easy opening and closing, which facilitates handling and minimizes the risk of contamination.
  • Instrumentation Compatibility: The lids are designed to be compatible with a variety of thermocyclers and molecular analysis instruments, allowing PCR and RT-qPCR reactions to be performed freely in different laboratories.

  • Temperature range: room temperature
  • Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture (make sure the packaging is in good condition)

STRIP flat or convex lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are components that are used to provide closure and protection for reactions carried out in tubes or plates under PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and RT-qPCR (Real-Time PCR) techniques. Both of these techniques are used for amplification and detection of DNA or RNA fragments in biological samples.
Here is the use of such lids in the context of PCR and RT-qPCR techniques:

  • Ensuring reactions under thermal control conditions: Coverslips are essential components in PCR and RT-qPCR reactions, as they ensure that the sample is isolated from the environment and that the proper temperature is maintained during the temperature cycling characteristic of these techniques.
  • Prevention of contamination: The lids prevent possible contamination of the sample during the reaction. This works both ways: they protect the reaction from contamination from the environment, and they protect the environment from possible contamination resulting from the reaction.
  • Minimizing evaporation: During temperature cycling in PCR and RT-qPCR reactions, there is a risk of sample evaporation. The lids help minimize this effect, which is important for maintaining the right concentration of reactants.
  • Light protection: Some PCR and RT-qPCR reactions, especially those using fluorophores, can be sensitive to light. The lids provide protection from light, which can affect reaction results.
  • Resistance to nucleases and pyrogens: STRIP lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are manufactured from materials resistant to nucleases (enzymes that degrade nucleic acid) and pyrogens (substances that cause inflammatory reactions). This prevents sample degradation and possible false results.
  • Facilitating manual handling: STRIP lids are available as strips containing multiple individual lids for easy manual manipulation during the pipetting and reaction process.
  • Automation: the lids are also compatible with automated PCR and RT-qPCR reaction systems, allowing for increased efficiency and accuracy in testing.
  • Compatibility: STRIP flat or convex lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are designed to fit conveniently into different types of containers, such as strip tubes and plates for PCR and RT-qPCR. The compatibility of STRIP lids with strip tubes and plates for PCR and RT-qPCR makes the process of preparing reactions and reading the results much easier. This allows multiple reactions and analyses to be performed simultaneously on the same media, which is particularly useful for performance and quantitative studies.
