RNA-free, DNA-free, Pyrogen free

Biologix sterile strokes are an extremely useful tool in the field of microbiology. They are characterized by high quality, precision workmanship and sterility, which makes them ideal for a wide range of laboratory applications. Biologix strokes are made of high-quality plastic that is free of RNA, DNA, endotoxins and enzymes, minimizing the risk of sample contamination. They are sterilized by gamma irradiation, which ensures complete sterility and eliminates any potential sources of contamination.

Comfort and ergonomic design

The size of the strokes is appropriately selected to enable precise microbiological manipulations. They have an ergonomic shape that provides a comfortable hold and control over movement. Their thin, rounded tips are ideal for collecting samples, dispersing microorganisms onto agar media, as well as transferring microorganisms between containers. The functionality of Biologix strokes in microbiology is wide. They can be used to collect samples from a variety of sources, such as liquids, solids, air, or surfaces. They allow microorganisms to be transported precisely and controllably, which is important when dispersing samples on agar plates or when creating dilutions.

Strokers are commonly used to perform tests for the presence of microorganisms, e.g. by imprinting samples on microbiological media. An additional advantage of Biologix smoothies is their single use. They can be easily removed after use, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination between samples.   • Sampling: Petting is excellent for sampling microorganisms from a variety of sources. They can be used to collect samples from soil, water, air, as well as from the surface of various objects. Thanks to their transparent nature, they allow researchers to manipulate the sample precisely, minimizing the risk of contamination and material loss.
  • Microorganism screening: Petals can be used to screen microorganisms onto a variety of agar media. Thanks to their delicate surface, they do not damage bacterial colonies or yeasts, allowing them to be evenly distributed on the media. This allows for the isolation and identification of individual species of microorganisms.
  • Preparation of microscopic smears: Strokes are irreplaceable when preparing microscopic smears. They are used to evenly distribute samples of microorganisms on microscope slides. With them, a thin layer of sample can be obtained, which is ideal for analysis under the microscope. The transparency of the strokes allows you to observe microorganisms without interference.
  • Transfer of microorganisms: Pets are used to transfer microorganisms from one medium to another, for example when transplanting bacterial colonies. Thanks to its anatomical design, the amount of material transferred to the new substrate can be precisely controlled, which is extremely important in order to obtain homogeneous cultures.
  • Preparation of biochemical tests: Strokes are also used in the preparation of biochemical tests, such as microorganism identification tests. They can be used to collect samples of microorganisms and transfer them to special media that contain various substances, such as sugars or chemical compounds
